Our Leadership
Guided by faith and a servant’s heart, our founders lead Boots On The Ground PNW in street-level ministry across Vancouver.
Chris Clark
Co-Founder
Chris led the initial vision for street-level outreach in Vancouver. His heart for the unsheltered and his background in relational care drive our mission to meet people exactly where they are, offering dignity through service and the message of Christ.
Jody Crockett
Co-Founder
Jody first stepped onto the streets of Vancouver alone, carrying nothing but a thermos of coffee, a few pairs of socks, and a deep conviction that Jesus sees every person by name. As she listened, prayed, and served week after week, God stirred a vision in her heart that was bigger than one person. Jody soon invited Chris, Terri, Josephine, and Kris Olsen to join her, and together they formed the founding team of Boots On The Ground PNW—uniting their gifts to love, protect, and walk alongside our unsheltered neighbors in Jesus’ name.
Terri Shapiro & Josephine Clark
Co-Founders
Terri and Josephine founded Boots On The Ground to foster a culture of servanthood. Together, they spearhead our foot washing and hot meal programs, ensuring that every outreach night is centered on relational connection and spiritual hope.
James Marks
Street Ministry Leader
James felt a deep, growing need to serve those living on the margins of our city. After sharing this burden with his pastor, he was introduced to Chris Clark and the Boots On The Ground PNW team. From that first night on the streets, James knew this was where Jesus was calling him—to love the homeless with compassion, prayer, and practical care. He now helps lead outreach nights, always pointing people to the hope and dignity they have in Christ.
